Precise dosage of additives to upgrade the polyester properties
The properties of thermoplastic polyesters can be further upgraded by using additives during compounding, so your specific requirements can be met.
We have the experience, the knowledge and the equipment to produce compounds based on post-consumer, post-industrial or virgin polyesters. To secure the highest quality end product we use a special twin-screw vacuum extruder with fine melt filtration and accurate dosing equipment for powders, dyes, masterbatches and/or other polymers. After processing, the polymers are homogeneously mixed. This process results in a unique thermoplastic polymer which is ready for use or can be further upgraded in our SSP process.
Compounds
Polyester compounds can be used in a lot of applications in a broad range of industries. Typical applications for the compounds we produce are e.g. machine building, automotive, household appliances and furniture. Together we can develop the right combination of process and raw materials to meet the needs of even the most demanding applications.
Capacity
Cumapol has an experienced team in polymer processing and the right technology to achieve the required properties. Our facility operates 24/7 at a maximum compounding capacity of currently 45 tons per day. Further capacity expansion is planned for 2020.
