Regranulation
Re-extrusion of your flakes into homogeneous high-quality rPET.
Every year we process 15.000 tons of flakes, produced from post-consumer-bottles (PCR) into granules. We can upcycle these granules to meet the different requirements and specifications of our customers. In order to guarantee the highest possible quality we use a twin-screw vacuum extruder with very fine melt filtration.
Food contact approved rPET
Our state of the art equipment and our high level of automation guarantee a consistent top quality rPET. This regranulation process is the first step towards purification of PCR PET bottles in order to obtain direct food contact approval. Our process received a positive expert opinion from the EFSA (recy085) and is regularly audited by the Dutch Organisation for Food (NVWA).
Sustainable solution
The rPET pellets are fully compatible with virgin PET and they are used for bottles, food trays and other applications with up to 100% recycled content. The use of rPET reduces the environmental impact of packaging materials and the need for fossil based raw materials.
